As you might have realised...I love political cartoons. In the run up to the G20 this weekend I found these 3 cartoons that all picture the scene. They come from 3 different countries which makes it interesting to see different perspectives on the power balance in the world right now.
From the UK (Kal @ The Economist)

The US is already defeated by "recession" and admits now that it cannot do it alone. It is
interesting here that the leaders are not personified.
Obama is moved to the fore-front with the task of stopping the recession single handedly with the other leaders cheering him on (somewhat) but from a distance hiding behind the G20 conference.
From South Korea

Quite a different perspective - not focusing on the task in hand but instead refers to the perceived balance of power. Obama has his back to the G20 which looks relatively pathetic and irrelevant next to him.
